A little more help for travelling. A frequent (around 1 hourly) train service runs directly between London's Liverpool Street Railway Station and Clacton-On-Sea Railway Station, train journey time 1 hour and 29 minutes. A Plusbus ticket is available for this journey. The numbers' 17 and 18 bus's will drop you off just outside of the Orchards Holiday Village, only a couple of minutes away from the Orchards Reception area and your Holiday Home.

The nearest National Express coach drop off is at, The Kings Arms Pub, Colchester Road, St Osyth, which is 2½  miles (4.17  km) away from the Orchards Holiday Village (park). Dave's Taxis are nearby in Colchester Road. Tel: 01255 820123.

There is a ½ hourly number's 17 and 18 bus service that runs the 6½ mile (10 km) journey between Clacton-On-Sea and Point Clear, journey time 19 minutes. The terminus for bus number's 17 and 18 is just outside the entrance to the Orchards Holiday Village, Point Clear. There are also several different taxi services available in Clacton. Travellers by National Express coach that have been dropped off at The Kings Arms Pub in St Osyth and would like to continue on to the Orchards by bus will find the bus stop for the number's 17 and 18 buses is in Clacton Road, just around the corner from their drop off point at The Kings Arms Pub.

The Orchards Holiday Village, Point Clear is only 82 miles (132 km) away by road from Central London (Kings Cross), journey time 1 hour and 48 minutes. If you would like to spend a day in London without all the hassle of congestion tickets, or parking problems and charges then you can always. "Let the train take the strain," with a cheap day return ticket from Clacton-On-Sea Station to London's Liverpool Street Station, journey time 1 hour and 29 minutes and if you like the theatre why not ask about their 2 for 1 theatre travel ticket. There is a car park at Clacton Station operated by National Car Parks Ltd and this is open 24/7.
